Gevalt! My etrog had its pitom broken on first day of Chol ha-Mo’ed. Is it kosher to use (with a berachah) during the rest of the festival?

Hi Pete
Yes, you may continue to perform the mitzvah of the “Four Species” using your etrog during the rest of the chag. (If the damage had occurred before you had performed the mitzvah on the 1st day of Yom Tov, a more thorough evaluation would have been necessary. But for days 2-7, you are fine to use it.)
