Dear Rabbi Simon,
I was asked to sing some chazonus at an interfaith event by Kings College JSoc next term. The issue is complicated/exacerbated by the fact that the event is in the Kings College London chapel (see here for information about the venue).
I heard that [a certain rabbi involved in Jewish student life] thought it would be fine, but I haven’t asked him. The one who invited me to the event thought I should check with my rabbi. What would you suggest?

The Kings Chapel looks regal.
I am not inclined to approve participating/performing in the KCL chapel, in keeping with the general halakhic interdiction against entering a Christian place of worship (unless it has been decommissioned and/or permanently repurposed). I checked with [the rabbi you mentioned] and he said that he has always managed to avoid entering the chapel at King’s College. I think you should do the same.
